# Quickstart
Deposit USDC, receive PT and YT, and make your first prediction in minutes.

## Open the Deposit screen
Navigate to the **Deposit** section from the main menu.

## Deposit USDC
Enter the amount of USDC you want to deposit and confirm the transaction. Once it settles, you will see your **PT** and **YT** balances appear in your wallet.

## Open the Predictions screen
Go to the **Predictions** section. You will see all currently available markets — sports, esports, and financial events.

## Place a prediction
Pick a market, choose your outcome, and enter the amount of YT you want to put in. Confirm the transaction. Your position is now live.

Predictions spend YT, not USDC. Your deposited principal is never touched. See [Exit Paths](/praxis/documentation/getting-started/exit-paths.md) to understand how YT spend affects early withdrawal.

## Claim your winnings
Once the market settles, your rewards are not added automatically — you need to claim them manually. Go to your **Positions** screen, find the settled market, and hit **Claim**. You can claim individual positions or batch-claim everything at once.
